First of all, this place is owned by the same company as the Holistix Treatment Center. They tell you they are taking you to Holistixs and then bring you to this dump in a neighborhood with crack heads up and down the street. So, you think you are going to a different place, fly from wherever their shady "admittance" hard sales pitch people find you from and then they pull one over on you and bring you here for your detox. By classification detox should be no more than 7 days but they will keep you here as many possible days as they can as long as your insurance will pay $4, 500 per day for detox and then they will keep you around several more days after that if your insurance will pay for residential level of care there for which you will be billed $2,900 a day. Then if you are crazy enough to put up with several days of doing nothing but smoking cigarettes and watching tv, then, and only then will they take you to Holistix Treatment Center.
Don't even think you'll get to make any phone calls without asking 5 times a day for at least 4 days. You will get brushed off, ignored, and if yous do finally get that phone you will make it from their office phone while they stand there and stare at you listening to every word you say after you tell them who you are calling and why. You'll get about 3 minutes of eye rolling and being treated like you are ruining their day with your phone call. So essentially nobody took the time to share with others what is really going on here.Don't be surprised if it starts raining in your bed in the middle of the night when it's raining outside. Big problem. They just painted over all the water marks running through the vent, cable line and all over the ceiling. I'm no expert in this department but I foresee mold being a huge problem with that solution.
If perhaps you find that this is not a valuable tool in your recovery journey, don't think you are going anywhere anytime soon. They will not give you any of your belongings, no phone, no credit or debit, nothing. And then they will confirm with you that the gate is not locked and you are free to leave at anytime. When they half halfheartedly decide to have some sort of AA group or otherwise, don't be surprised when the "therapist" puts on a comedy sketch from youtube.com.
They are not at all interested in your recovery in this difficult time in your life. They ARE on the other hand VERY interested in your insurance and what it covers, for how long. That will dictate if they want you there and how long they will hold you. Your progress or timeline may be different depending on what you were using and for how long so everyone is different. But $$$$$ signs will actually determine your treatment path with this company. They will kick you out on the street if your insurance coverage days fall short of what you need. I saw this happen first hand. I had a determined set # of days my insurance would cover and that is how long they said I must stay. Not move me on to real therapy or a scheduled day of group therapy. Just have me hang around for days on end smoking cigarettes and eating snacks.
