Early on we discovered two things about working with lawyers. You are often concerned that you and your issues will not be understood by our clinical staff and that the typical recovery process is not applicable to your needs. At HealthCare Connection of Tampa we listened to these concerns and created the only attorneys' addictions recovery program in the country that has a specific curriculum for attorneys and is administered by certified addiction professionals who are attorneys in recovery themselves.Evening Outpatient Program (EOP)

Meet the Staff
Dennis D DelVecchio, LMHC, CAP Chief Clinical Officer and Director of Professional ProgramsDennis graduated from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science with a degree in Pharmacy in 1990. He then went on to practice as a retail pharmacist, quickly achieving a promotion to pharmacy manager. Having struggled with personal addiction issues throughout his life, Dennis finally hit bottom, entering treatment at HealthCare Connection of Tampa in June of 2000; he essentially never left. After completing his own treatment program he began volunteering his time while working on his Certification as an Addiction Professional in the state of Florida.
David P. Myers, MD, CAPPresident and Medical DirectorDr. Myers is a fellow of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. He has been active in the recovery community for over 20 years. Dr. Myers focused his professional interests on Chemical Dependency after a successful career as an Anesthesiologist. He is the Owner and President of HealthCare Connection and directs and monitors each program in the system. Evaluations are directly coordinated by Dr. Myers to assure that the medical model used at HCC addresses all aspects of the client's mental health and personal fitness.
