Footprints Beachside Recovery Center

I have been through my fair share of substance abuse treatment over the years. 4 inpatient stays as well as three IOPs. Footprints was hands down the best. It was wasn't the fanciest or most well known place I went to but that is what makes this place special. It is an intimate setting with an unbelievable staff. They made me feel like I was part of a family from day one. They went above and beyond the call of duty. The Clinical Director was amazing. She actually listened to you and designed a program that she thought would be most beneficial to you. It was individualized which is rare. I spent 90 days total at Footprints and have been sober for almost nine months. If you know anyone that needs help Footprints is the place to go.

The staff were patient with my son as he worked through the 12-steps. The fact that the program is faith based meant the world to my family. My son made real connections with staff and other residents and continues to network with all of them. My son has even decided that he wants to become certified to work in a rehab facility so that he might help others the way he has been helped. My son was pleased with all of that the facility offered. The program really helped my son to grow up and be accountable for his actions. He learned so much about himself and how his addiction impacted others in his life. He stopped blaming others and accepted responsibility for his addition, the lies and the pain we endured as a family. I feel my son has a roadmap for how to live drug free.

I cannot say enough! The folks who work there have to be the absolute best there is!!!!! I'm going to go all cliche and say they are miracle workers. I had abused alcohol for over a decade and couldn't quit on my own. These folks helped me to find the root of my issues and learn to accept them. The administrative staff is caring, kind and understanding of the clients' issues. The counselors are like the "Avengers" of counselors. They have real super powers! Seriously, each had thier own special way to connect with the clients. The instruction they gave was outstanding! I thought I knew it all with my degree in psychology but wow.... The knowledge imparted to me was staggering. I studied every night and tried to wrap my head around everything I had learned that day and apply it. I have never studied or applied myself to learning like I did at Footprints. The wholistic approach was the exact way to go for me. I needed to explore treatments and therapies I hadn't done before. A total eye opener! Please. Please! If you are questioning whether or not to choose this facility, just do it. This isn't sitting around in a circle listening to other peoples issues, which is the experience I had always had, this is "hands in the dirt" action to help you to make a difference in your life! I can't say enough about John and the crew. They helped me to take my life back and be able to enjoy the bejeezus out of my wife and boy again. I am indebted forever and thrilled about it. Just call them, please. Take your life back like I did. Probably the easiest and smartest decision you'll make today.............or ever.

I had only spent a couple of weeks in treatment yet in that short time I learned a tremendous amount about getting and staying sober not to mention about myself and others. I had also spent 10 days in detox and the facility recommended Footprints. The staff was excellent as were the clients. I wish everyone there the best as my thoughts are with you. I have continued meetings and help. Cant tell you how clear my mind is getting over a 3 week period. Footprints is an angel on my shoulder. Not only did they help me achieve Recovery they also provided me the tools necessary to continue a safe sober life. I learned how to be honest with myself and others. I was able to come out of my shell and be open about my issues. I now have the willingness to move forward in life heading towards serenity.
