ABOUT FUTURE NOW DETOX
Future Now Detox is a 24-hour medical detoxification facilty located in Palm Beach, Fla, and is among the 11 percent of residential facilities in the state to offer detox. Formerly known as IntoAction Treatment LLC, the center prides itself on its holistic approach and its ability to treat both addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. In addition to its medical detoxification services, Future Now Detox runs residential and outpatient treatment programs at various levels of intensity.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
Treatment begins with an official assessment. The center combines a traditional 12-Step approach with holistic options and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma resolution therapy across family, group, and individual therapy sessions.
As part of its holistic curriculum, Future Now Detox offers beach-side meditations, yoga, art, and vibroacoustic (using sound waves to stimulate brain function) and harmonial therapy. The center employs a chiropractor and massage therapists, facilitating further healing through Reiki treatment and acupuncture. Clients are seen by the facility doctor on a weekly basis and have access to the gym three or more times a week. Both nutritional counseling and smoking cessation support can also be arranged for.
Future Now Detox also utilizes NAD Therapy to aid in detox. The natural process, technically qualified as a holistic method, is designed to help a patient through detox by naturally replenishing nutrients to assist with normalizing brain chemistry.
Prior to completing treatment, clients are encouraged to complete a relapse prevention plan (that incorporates religious foundations) as well as a plan for aftercare. Halfway houses are available for recovering clients. Alumni events and outings are organized by the facility, in which alumni can benefit from life skills training and education and employment support.
Future Now Detox medical personnel includes master’s level therapists and social workers, a psychiatrist, a registered art therapist who is also a licensed mental health counselor and a certified trauma specialist, case managers, yoga instructor, chiropractor, and a dietitian. It is among the 30 percent of Florida facilities to receive accreditation by the Joint Commission (JCAHO)
