This place is not very effective, I agree with another former resident, it is one long AA meeting.
All the staff seem to be addicts or former addicts which helps with empathy. They are also all about your insurance and money. The facility is by no way diverse in the clients or staff, not even the kitchen staff. I do not see that all the clients are treated the same. The people who were addicted with street drugs were treated with kid gloves, and get away with many bad behaviors while others with just alcohol addiction were given less consideration. The place is also very unsanitary, There is only one restroom in the main lobby for guest, clients and staff, and it is always filthy, you are given no real cleaning products to clean your assigned work duties, just Lysol. at the time i was there is the fall of 2019 I was 1 of only 3 clients of color that resided there. I did find the nursing staff to often be fairly caring. Please do your research thoroughly when looking for a treatment facility for yourself or loved one
