Facility Information

Specialization
  • Medical Detoxification

Drugs and alcohol have widespread effects throughout your body, including but not limited to the addiction and/or physical/psychological dependence that develops with substance abuse over time. Many organ systems are affected by addiction and will react to withdrawal. The term “medical detoxification” means that there is a trained and licensed medical professional onsite to monitor your vital signs and protect your physical and emotional health as your body goes through withdrawal.
  • Aftercare Support

Addiction recovery does not end with discharge after completing a rehab program. Facilities that offer aftercare planning and/or support work with patients to ensure sustainable recovery by helping to plan and make arrangements for transitional or sober living, help with housing, vocational counseling, etc.
  • Animal Therapy

Animal therapy (also called animal-assisted therapy and pet therapy) supports recovery and emotional wellbeing by helping people develop relationships with animals. Animal therapy can be a one-time or ongoing experience.
  • Residential Treatment

Residential treatment programs provide housing (food and meals) in addition to treatment for substance abuse. Some facilities offer only short-term residential treatment, some offer only long-term treatment and others offer both, ranging from a few days to many months, based on patient needs.
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

The focus of cognitive behavioral therapy (also called CBT) is helping people to understand the thoughts and emotions that underlie their addiction with the goal of learning new, healthier and more productive ways to understand and express themselves.

When and if you are ready to get clean and healthy it is an amazing place to do this. Mt. Sinai and it's counselors and medical staff are the best. I couldn't have come this far in my recovery of 14 1/2 months without starting here first. They put you through a very comfortable detox and then the work begins. They also set up a great aftercare program to fit your needs. Thank you,Mt. Sinai.

Mt Sinai is incredible. I have been to several rehabs and this is the most amazing spot ive been to. I came to Mt Sinai after reading the reviews. The program is effective if you just follow the schedule. People get what they put into it. I loved my therapist (Mary) and also my Dr., Dr Siekel. The food was good (not 4 Star, but better than my wife\'s) The cabins are great and if u cant succeed at Mt. Sinai, you just weren\'t ready to get clean. Dont hesitate to send your loved one there, and go if u need help. You will be treated with respect, and as a human being, they treat the disease as a medical condition and not a behavior. Thank you Mt. Sinai for getting my life back.

When I arrived I was scared and lost in my alcoholism. From the moment I was greeted the staff made me feel welcomed and important. My therapist and classes were awesome. I learned so much about myself and gained valuable tools to use in my recovery. I am forever grateful for my experience here.

My experience at Mount Sinai exceeded my expectations beyond belief. Many treatment centers treat you like a patient but Mount Sinai treated me like a human. The whole staff went above and beyond to help with my emotional and medical needs. The owners, Jeff, Dan and Billy have most definitely put extreme effort and thought into creating such humbling and comfortable environment for people to get well in every way possible. From my therapist Natalie to the RAs to groups with Alex, Nicole and Rick to working with Cade in the gym to Carla in the kitchen to the housekeepers - I could not have asked for a better staff to have been supervised by. Sobriety is difficult, and on my tough days the staff was more than capable of turning things around for the better. I truly believe Mount Sinai is a great pathway to get sober and well!
