These groups make use of a variety of evidence-based practices including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and Seeking Safety. It is also one of the 292 (46.1 percent) of Illinois treatment facilities to use the Matrix Model and one of 329 (52 percent) of Illinois facilities to use dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
