Our son who is 32 has been drinking and smoking pot since 8th grade. Sometime in the last year or two he began with heroin. He was emaciated, couldn’t hold a conversation and slept most of the day. Fortunately he came to his Dad in Oct. 2020 and asked for help. Through his girlfriends work at the YWCA she had heard of the excellent reputation of Liberty Ranch. My so has now been there 5 months and is following the AA program along with 3 times a week counseling and many group meetings with the head of Liberty Ranch who has been sober for around 25 years. He also has an AA sponsor. He has changed dramatically. He is now at a healthy weight, out going and made friends that he says will be life time friends. Liberty Ranch is a fabulous place that treats all aspects of the resident with much support and expertise.

My family got involved with Liberty House in the 1990’s and have stayed a friend of Liberty Ranch. When our son first arrived at Liberty House, to say we had no true understanding of the disease is an understatement. It took us a very long time to realize we were hindering his sobriety. Larry Luttrell is truly passionate about saving lives and structuring a program that does not enable the lies and manipulations of addicts. Family members must trust what Larry says and get into an Al Anon program to understand the enabling that we do. Not having contact the first 30 days allows the addict time to integrate into the ranch and for the family to finally take a breath and know their loved one is safe. This is the time you get to Al Anon. Blessings to all.......

My daughter is a current resident at the Liberty Ranch facility and she has progressed really well in her treatment program. She is actually back to her original self and cares about her children again. I am very pleased with the facility and staff.
