ABOUT THE MORTON CENTER
Located in southeastern Louisville, Ky., the Morton Center provides outpatient care at varying intensities for adults, adolescents, children, and families who have been affected by substance misuse, whether their own or a family member's. TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The Morton Center uses 12-Step and evidence-based methods, in a "whole-person" treatment approach that's designed to address clients' emotional, spiritual, and physical well-being. The most intensive level of care for adults and adolescents alike is an intensive outpatient program (IOP), positioning the Morton Center among the 36.8 percent of Kentucky-based treatment facilities that provide an IOP.
The program is available in the daytime or the evening, to suit a variety of schedules, and includes group, individual, family, and expressive counselingand educational programs on addiction. The IOP gradually tapers, as clients progress through the program and become more independent. Aftercare is provided in the form of an ongoing Chemical Dependency Recovery Group.

There is currently no information provided by the facility regarding its treatment staff, however, the two individuals polled by Rehabs.com to date on the staff's level of training and experience gave it a three-star rating and a five-star rating.

The reviewers invariably praised the center's helpful staff: "Easy access for help for client & family. Staff is considerate and easy to approach. Fees are negotiable and covered by many insurances. The programs are thorough and seem to work. The environment is non-judgmental and helpful," Patrice wrote in a particularly descriptive review on Yelp.
WHAT FRIENDS & FAMILY SAY
Rehabs.com has received reviews from three loved ones to date, of whom two gave very negative feedback. One parent cited negative interactions with the facility's front office staff, while another wrote that their daughter's behavior improved initially during treatment, then deteriorated dramatically.
However, the other loved one would recommend the facility and gave it four stars for its family participation, counseling options, and ability to treat co-occurring disorders, but just one star for its holistic offerings. "Comprehensive intense outpatient treatment," the anonymous reviewer wrote, though they added: "Quality of group counselling sessions vary depending on therapists assigned."
WHAT STAFF SAY
The sole staff member polled by Rehabs.com at the time of this writing praised the Morton Center. The employee gave the center perfect five-star ratings for family participation and ability to treat co-occurring disorders, and fours stars for its counseling options. The employee wrote that family inclusion was a strength of the facility but noted that “limited funds for patients” was a weakness. "A strength was that family was included A downfall was that there were limited funds for patients," they summarized.
