Continual 12 step meetings and outpatient follow-ups 30 days is too short for some addicts. You get what you put into recovery. If you're truly serious you can well become better fairly quick, but the continuation once you're discharged is up to the individual. If you don't get a spiritual foundation and change people, places and things you're doomed to relapse.
