ABOUT NEW ENGLAND RECOVERY CENTER
Founded in 2015 and located in Westborough, Mass., New England Recovery Center is a full service drug and alcohol treatment center that provides services to adults. It offers inpatient services, outpatient treatment, and detox, which about 14 percent of all treatment centers in Massachusetts offer.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
According to New England Recovery Center's website, treatment may begin with medical detox. Clients are under supervision 24/7, and detox addresses the immediate physical effects of withdrawals.
In inpatient and outpatient treatment, the treatment staff utilizes a variety of interventions including motivational interviewing, individual and group therapy, life skill training, 12-step meetings, family engagement, relapse prevention, and aftercare planning.
Programming also includes evidence-based counseling such as cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, gender responsive programming, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, and relapse prevention training.
The treatment center offers holistic recovery services including massage therapy, personal fitness, meditation, and yoga. Support programs are available for family members and loved ones such as education, supportive counseling, and ongoing case management.
After detox and inpatient center, New England Recovery Center offers outpatient treatment as a form of aftercare.

New England Recovery Center's website indicates the treatment center has a fitness center, media room, outdoor patios and scenic walking areas. Also, detox is provided at The Giblin House, which is a 36-bed facility.
REVIEWS
Rehabs.com has yet to receive any reviews from this facility’s former clients, loved ones, or staffers. However, the three people to leave reviews to date on New England Recovery Center's Facebook page, which it has the ability to manage, gave five out of five stars.[1]
The 12 people to leave Google Reviews at the time of this writing gave an average of two out of five stars.[2] Three people gave five stars, and provided positive commentary including calling the center a good program.
However, the other nine people gave one star reviews, and explained negative experiences at New England Recovery Center. Some reviewers described their stay as "traumatizing," and others complained about communication. "still more lies almost impossible to deal with them and not get lied to..i wouldn't trust them to help with sobriety for any substance user," D.L. wrote in a representative review.
To date, of the eight people to leave Yelp reviews, six gave one out of five stars.[3] The others gave two and five stars. Negative feedback included a unprofessional staff, little structure, and that they're understaffed.
"The building looks nice, but that's about all they have going for them. They are understaffed and many of their "recovery specialists" are simply glorified daycare workers," Jamie wrote in a representative review on Yelp.

According to New England Recovery Center's website, it works with most major health insurances, which about 68 percent of all treatment centers in Massachusetts accept.
