Serenity Point Recovery Center
Before I came to serenity Point my life was falling apart again. I had been clean for 7 months before, but thought I could take one drink and I would be fine. From there it was down hill. I made the call to S.P.R. and they accepted me 15 minutes later. I was on my way May 6th. The idea of doing a 45 day program scared me. I had pets, rent, bills, family and a boyfriend. How could I leave them all on the drop of a dime. It had been the best decision in awhile. This program has taught me so much and a lot of thanks to my process group and the Native 12 Step program. Being able to open up and not be judged by anyone, allows you to see the real things that got you to your addiction. Native has allowed me to reconnect with nature and find a true happiness I haven't felt in awhile. I have made great connection with almost everyone here and they make getting through that much easier. I wont lie to you this is not an easy program and it takes a lot of self-searching and going deep inside your mind, but I promise it only gets better. If you want to leave, just stick it out because what is 45 days compared to the rest of your life. Thanks Serenity Point.
