Also, the SMART Recovery course has showed me that there isn't just one way to achieve sobriety, which is what I was taught during my attendance in A.A. groups, This course also showed me that a relapse doesn't mean you have lost any of the sobriety time that you previously had achieved rather you get to build on it, and it teaches you to us such experiences as a learning opportunity to grow and continue to move forward with my sobriety. Overall, I have gained a new, very optimistic outlook towards my future, and the future of my journey through life in sobriety.
