Knowledgeable staff and great physical plant. Seemed to take a long time to get an appointment. Hazelden is extremely well known and respected. The programs offered were appropriate for the young person who was in need of treatment.

Strengths: Private rooms smaller groups. Weaknesses: More leaned toward the alcholics than the addicts they should separate them. It's a much more comfortable place than a hospital rehab...more one on one..not totally 12 step that doesn't really apply totally to an addict. They handled the detox process much better than a hospital setting where your just an insurance payment.

They have a great setting and very kind and caring people working there. I would highly recommend anybody pursuing treatment to give them a shot. I did and I finally have some long-term sobriety.
