great staff, they really understand how the patient feels and does all they can to help you adjust and be sucsessful they are quite expensive nice rooms, great meals and an awesome pool, it really helped having the pool to get exercise and a pleasant distraction from the rest of the program. the councelors are great and the large room for speakers makes it feel more like a classroom than a group of people in therapy

So welcoming. I was so scared and after 30 min I felt peace. The surroundings were beautiful and the staff amazing. The treatment was exactly what I needed. Its individual based on my needs. I can't say enough. The accommodations were awesome. I truly enjoyed it! The aftercare wasn't the best. The living conditions at the time weren't good. It costs so much that its impossible to stay after the 28 days. The atmosphere at hazelden is comforting in a scary time. The actual places where we sleep and meet are so nice. The treatment was exactly what I needed. We had homework during the day and group. We learned how to meditate and pain management and how to live life again. They had speakers every night who were in recovery and we looked so forward to those. The food was unbelievable and the staff cared. I rate it above all others!
