some of the staff is great & proffesional. you will have to deal with alot of drama from staff & other clients. they accept the lowest forms of people that need to be in a nursing home, bad hygiene they look for homeless people mentally unstable

I had no idea how blessed I was to end up at Hazelden in 1983 . I had been committed to the state mental hospital and was quickly turning into a throw away girl . Their unconditional love and knowledge gave me the best foundation I could ever hope for . Dec 13 th I had 37 years of sobriety . I could not have done it with out the extensive treatment I was given there . I still go to meetings , still do coffee , still go on speaking commitments , work my steps and read my big book . Thank you for my life very confusing as I’m trying to give five stars lol
