Reputation, knowledge, training, care giving, food, community. Felt like they try to keep you there once you've entered. Everything costs extra. Hazelden taught me that I have a disease from which there is no known cure. They taught me that I was not alone and that there is support available. They taught me to believe again in my assets and not just my liabilities. Their facilities were exceptional, and their program planning was perfect for a 28 day stay. However, if you were recommended to stay longer you basically here the same programming again and again.
