TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
For admittance to Webster Place, clients must first have a phone interview with an admissions counselor, followed by the completion of a physician’s waiver and payment upon entrance. While the length of treatment varies, most clients commit to a treatment plan of at least 30 days.
The recovery process includes a structured daily schedule consisting of Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) meetings, 12-step work, and a plethora of alternative therapies in a non-medical, non-clinical setting.
According to the facility’s website, the recovery process at Webster Place at Farnum North revolves around the concept of “Health Realization,” which focuses on improving clients’ mindful consciousness through group, individual, and peer-driven counseling groups.
Residents also participate in a range of recreational and therapeutic activities. These include gardening, yoga, acupuncture, art therapy, and meditation. Webster Place also hosts chaperoned field trips to lakes and baseball games.
Although clients generally stay in treatment for up to 30 days, residents may stay longer based on their housing situation. Webster Place makes it a policy to keep clients if they do not have adequate housing post-treatment. Case managers work to find clients suitable housing before being discharged. When possible, housing is located where clients can continue treatment in an outpatient capacity.
Lead by a certified Doctor of Psychology, Webster Place at Farnum North’s staff consists of licensed counselors, case managers, and a support staff. Access to a medical specialist is available at a sister facility.
