ABOUT TEEN CHALLENGE NEW HAMPSHIRE
One of eight Teen Challenge facilities throughout the northeast, Teen Challenge New Hampshire is a 15-month Christian residential treatment program for adult men struggling with drug and alcohol addiction. Men are encouraged to detox before entering the residential program.
TREATMENT & ASSESSMENT
The Teen Challenge program in New Hampshire teaches practical biblical values like integrity, self-control, and compassion. Over the course of their 15-month stay, men develop essential life skills designed to help them become reliable family members and employees.
Combining personal studies, class lectures, chapel services, and vocational training, the program provides men with ample opportunities to develop healthy thinking patterns and positive lifestyle changes. Men also earn their GED (if they haven’t already) and work closely with staff in setting realistic goals for life after rehab.
Upon successful completion of the 15-month program, men may enroll in Teen Challenge’s state-certified apprenticeship program, where they’re given opportunity to develop a skillset in a field of their choice. The six-month apprenticeship provides men with dormitory style housing and a small stipend.
While there is no specific information about staff credentials for this location, staff at other Teen Challenge facilities are drawn from the broad community of alumni and are, therefore, familiar with the facility's approach.
