The facility is located about 50 feet from the Atlantic Ocean. The sun rises are spectacular and the calming effect of the rhythmic ocean waves aid in the recovery process. Aubrey, the Facility Administrator, is a delight to work with. She is very professional, caring, and witty which helps everyone, staff and clients, to feel comfortable. She is also very accessible 24/7. The lodging for the clients is unique in that they have a little mini apartment equipped with a full kitchen. I feel like this is a great benefit to the clients because they are living in a real life setting and experiencing their recovery journey as they would live at home. The health and well being of all clients comes first. The therapy and activities are tailored according to individual needs. All services are on site where the clients live so there is no commute for individual or group. Location, staff commitment to clients, therapy, outside pool during the summer, safe location, client camaraderie, nurse on staff, therapist on staff. Needs a bit more client outings. therapy. There is an exercise room on site as well. The quality of the staff and their compassion to assist everyone on their journey to making a change to a healthy and productive life is priority.
