I have met many people who went to Arrowhead and they are well on the road to a whole different life without having to go "day by day" and being careful, or hooked on psychiatric medication for the rest of their lives. The cravings are totally gone, naturally, and there is no interest. They have a different lifestyle and understanding of life altogether, and I think that is fantastic! There is also a simpler program called "First Step" if one cannot go to a facility. Drug free. They lied to us. I was supposed to be in 90 day residential and then moved to phase 2 transitional but they tried to keep me in residential for the money. They would not file our insurance they only wanted us to pay them cash each and told us we could get reimbursed but they would not give us the information needed to file for reimbursement.
