Banyan Philadelphia had a very good PHP residential program and I'm glad I came here as a step-down from inpatient treatment. The therapists, counselors, and techs offered great support and patient care. I would definitely recommend this treatment center for substance abuse treatment. The groups, activities, and residential experience were enjoyable.

The groups are repetitive and I think the groups should be smaller so you can speak about your problems more and try to solve them. The counselors are recovering addicts so they can rate to you. However, they try to brainwash you with religion. They treat you like children.

My loved one was in patient twice over 3 years. Major relapses but because of out patient satelite locations she's been able to attend on going out patient therapy close to home.
