I was a client at avenues for 6 months. I found it to be professionally run by caring people. Right now I have 1 year clean with more to go.my counselor was crummy but all the others were good, don't worry he has since left.the living arrangements were fine and the food they provided was sufficient. You cooked for yourself. When the young guys cooked you got hot dogs and burgers .when the older ones cooked you ate salmon, pork shoulders, pork chops etc. It was hit or miss but never bad. Plus you could make what you wanted. The patient techs were good and helpful. One in particular pat would literally go to the ends of the earth to help you. Gotta love the guys genuiness and caring demeanor. The housing manager devin was really good also. Sadly I've been in quite a few rehabs and I would rate avenues an 8 out of 10. I would recommend it to family and friends. I learned alot there which helps me now.you can only get better coming here. Jamie lorber
Counselors are always available. Facility is very nice and clean. Housing was exceptional. Daily classes were very informative. Aftercare classes and alumni meetings keep you involved. The food was good but could slightly improve. Also- no more pay phones, calls should be free! My experience was what it needed to be: learning, practicing, and understanding my problem. I wouldn't change anything and I had the experience I needed. It saved my life and I'm grateful for that.
Program was AA based. Since leaving have been attending group meetings for indefinite period.
