Rehabs 360 Guide

One of the few facilities in the country that focuses exclusively on love and sex addiction, the Center for Relationship and Sexual Recovery (CRSR), a part of The Ranch recovery complex in Nunnelly, Tenn., treats addictions to sex, love, pornography, compulsive masturbation, voyeurism, and exhibitionism. Situated on 2,000 acres of rolling hills, the program takes place in a gender-separate, residential environment and combines trauma-informed therapy with experiential and holistic activities.

Treatment, housing, and recreation are completely gender-separate and gender-specific, as the core patterns behind sex addiction for men and women differ greatly. Participants attend daily group therapy, a weekly trauma group led by a trained specialist, and 12-step support meetings. CRSR’s experiential and holistic offerings include adventure therapy, mindfulness, equine therapy, hypnotherapy, and a ropes course, helping participants explore relationship boundaries, develop communication skills, and rebuild their sense of trust and connection.

CRSR also runs a three-day family program for partners/spouses, offering couples a unique opportunity to participate in equine therapy together.

The program was developed by a licensed clinical social worker and certified sex addiction therapist. Members of the treatment teams include licensed social workers, master’s level therapists, certified sex addiction therapist, nutritionists, holistic wellness practitioners, physicians, and nurses.

The Ranch has several homes, some of which border the Piney River. Facilities range from Southern mansions to Cape Cod-style homes with pitched roofs and dormer windows. Each residence offers comfortable communal areas, and some have classic Southern front porches. The facility has horse stables and a small fitness center on-site.
