After leaving the facility, I continued daily groups for 4 weeks. Then aftercare program (my husband & I both) on Saturday for 1 year. Group work included. Having been in treatment before, this was the far & above the best.
The staff is both professional and involved. They take the time to get to know every client individually and relate their own personal experiences on a very human level. They made me feel like I matter. The food is excellent, the extracurricular activities are fun, the beds are comfortable etc. etc. Great place! There is not enough time to play music. The medical staff need to be more attentive to clients who are sick or in pain. I have been to 9 treatment centers and this is the last one my insurance will pay for. I am so glad I took this opportunity to come here to get sober again. This place made me feel like I actually deserve my sobriety rather than seeing it as a punishment. I highly recommend it. I'm almost glad I relapsed just so I could come to Recovery Unplugged in Austin, TX.
Overall it's a good outpatient program with intensive therapy groups daily and a nice place to stay in sober living while doing your outpatient program. The food at resolutions is very good and the rooms are nice, new and clean with mini-fridges, tv's and plenty of space with maid service. The pool is also beautiful and is a nice way to relax after a long week of class. The only ding I have is regarding the individual therapy - I haven't gotten very much out of the individual sessions (it may just be my individual therapist) the group sessions/classes are beneficial and they teach about a broad range of topics including healthy relationships, mindfulness, meditation, co-occurring disorders and communication. One thing to note, you are not allowed to get a pass (leave the facility) until you are in treatment for 14 business days and no visitors are allowed to come into the facility.
