Discovery Point Retreat

This is a good place for recovery. I had my guard up at first because I already know how the system works but everyone and everything here really worked with me. We did a lot of fun stuff here while being treated. So overall I give this place 5 stars.

La Hacienda Treatment Center

Long track record of long term sober patients. Many come in every Sunday to give support. That was huge to me. The MD's staff's knowledge & understanding of the disease process & no BS Straight talk about where I was in that process was excellent. Also, the counselors helped me understand getting sober WOULD NOT BE ENOUGH to live as a free man- the life I sought. Patients there who did not want to be there but were forced to be were a downfall. I loved that right up front they dive into the medical aspect of my addiction. Made me look at it from a medical point of view with actual After giving a counselor a long detailed reasoning about my wife and family and business etc. they volunteered to walk me to the front office and get a refund check for all of my money and get me home safely because they told me that I was no way that I would ever stay sober trying to do all that for those people that I had to do it for just me. That saved me when my wife divorced me in spite of a couple years sobriety. Thank God I listen to them I didn't get sober for her.
