Only one thing you can say when it's all good, it's all good.
I’ve actively worked with several clients who have utilized Sage as part of alcohol and drug treatment required in the Travis County Court system. I have been consistently impressed with the personalized service each client gets and the commitment to caring for the whole individual in addressing their various needs in dealing with alcohol and drug addiction. Sage is an excellent addition to the community and perfect resource for counseling and treatment.
I was very hesitant when family suggested I go to rehab but when I decided I would go, I am glad I picked Greenhouse. The amenities are extremley helpful to beginning your road to recovery. From the gym, to the heat room, to the jacuzi to the lounges to the yoga studio, everything helps keep your mind/body active and moving. The housekeeping and cooking staff are extremely friendly and will always look out for your best interest. The therapists are friendly and show that they care and provide good feedback. Although not all are in recovery and some may be more experienced than others, they all still try and connect with you and give you the best possible feedback and therapy sessions. I would just suggest that the 1 on 1 sessions were more than once a week. The one main thing I would complain about are some of the Treatment Advocates (TA's). They do whatever they can to write you up or show that they are the ones in power. They knock on your doors and follow you with their iPads documenting every move you do. The group sessions can also be a bit repetitive as they are the same groups on a weekly basis. The food on a daily basis is also repetitive, although it is delicious. Overall, my experience at Greenhouse was one I am grateful for. I learned a lot of things I would have never learned on my own and made friends that I will continue to speak to on my journey to recovery. I would definitely recommend Greenhouse if you are serious about getting sober and beginning a lifetime of recovery.
