Greenhouse Treatment Center
I forgot to mention that the detox nursing staff knew me by name and treated me with kindness every single day! The night I got there one nurse sat with me while I cried and was very homesick (I came from Minnesota). My psychiatrist was...well we didn't see eye to eye at first but the experience did improve by the week with her. Ashleen always had great things planned for our small groups and made sure we all felt like we were in a comfortable place to share and grow. My only recommendation would be to have a couple more groups available for those who want to incorporate their faith into their recovery, Josh's group was amazing and I never missed his group to attend another one. The options as to what groups you wanted to attend was awesome and felt like you could choose HOW you wanted to recover and that there isn't just one way. It's been 2+ years and I still remember the staff that made an impact on me. I often miss Greenhouse and want to go back. They have housekeeping and laundry service so all you have to focus on is recovery. I was there when CoVid was in full swing so we didn't get to use the outdoor pool but we would sometimes dip our feet in. The amenities are top notch. I could go on and on about this facility, how much they WANT to help you recover and how the environment they have there makes you WANT to recover and stay clean and sober. It wasn't my choice to go to recovery, my parents woke me up in the morning and told me that I had a flight to Texas at 4pm to treatment, though I was scared, wasn't prepared, and didn't know what to expect (this was my first treatment), I immediately felt at ease and safe upon arriving to the facility. If you have the opportunity to go to Greenhouse PLEASE take it!

Discovery Point Retreat is a world class treatment center and everything from their staff to food was just perfect for me. My friend recommended the facility and I have never regretted my decision about going there.
