My son went here and it was the worst decision I made. I thought they would be helping him take a step in the right direction, but it was more of a jail like setting with little to no communication between clinical staff and myself.

weak....inattentive staff...lazy
The nursing staff was completely unprofessional. ...While I waited for the phones to be turned back on so that I could call home, the nurse called me to the counter so that I would lose my turn in line and then stated that she forgot what she needed when I got up there. The signs posted read that the first five minutes of outside time were nonsmoking time, but every time they allowed us to go outside, they would let the smokers out at the same time. When I asked when \"fresh air\" time was, the nurse said, \"Well, there are more smokers than nonsmokers, so you\'ll just have to skip it.\" When I asked the psychiatrist when I could leave, he said I had to wait until my full evaluation. I asked when that would be and he showed me a large pile of files stating that \"these people have been here for weeks waiting, so I\'ll get to you when I can.\" The second day I was there, the Billing representative spoke to each of us about our bills and ability to pay. The next group session was filled with people anxious about the impending debt waiting for them upon their release. It forced some to pretend to be better because they didn\'t have the funds to pay. As I left, I ran into a guy they had released an hour prior and he was just sitting outside terrified saying he wasn\'t ready to leave but had to because his time was up. ... When my sister called the front desk asking to bring me some clothes/toiletries, they told her there were no visiting hours that day, so she couldn\'t even bring me something to wear. The nurse ended up pulling something out of the lost and found pile for me to wear. The first two days that I was there, only one of the showers had hot water, so I had everyone coming to my room to shower. The water went from ice cold to scolding hot and nothing in between. When I mentioned it to the staff, they just shrugged and did nothing about it. Food was just laid out for everyone to take as much or as little as they wanted. No one was monitoring patient eating habits. The TVs were off for the majority of the time and they didn\'t have books or activities for us to fill the time with.... I was there for depression, but that wing didn\'t have room, so all of the group sessions I participated in were about drug use. The entire area was kept at very cold temperatures... There was absolutely nothing helpful about my stay there.... My bill was $2900 for a nightmare of a stay in a place staffed by an overworked psychiatrist and angry, disgruntled nurses. My insurance only paid $80 because that was the only part of the bill labeled as Medial/Professional Services. The rest was room and board! What a joke. If you care about your loved ones, take them elsewhere for treatment. This place shouldn\'t even be called a treatment center.

This place has completely messed up my husband\'s care through two different detox times now... It is now 3 days later and I am still trying to get a hold of someone who can complete the necessary form so my husband can get his medication. Looks like I may have to make another call to licensing about their lack of care!!

Detox ,good information and coping skills presented. Redundancy a bit distressing. Actual psych consults, counceling nearly non-existent.
