We offer medical detox as well as residential, inpatient treatment. Our medical detox is focused on the physical effects and dangers the body can experience during the detox process. Our inpatient, residential treatment program is focused on addressing and healing the underlying issues that lead one back to their addiction. Underlying issues can be multi faceted and need to be addressed in an individualized manner. Our clinical program is completely custom and tailored to each clients needs. We specialize in treating not only addiction but mental health, trauma, adverse childhood experiences( ACES) and many other co-occurring mental health disorders. At Ardu Recovery, our purpose is to heal and treat the biology of the disease. Meaning we can help undo the damage to the brain caused by addiction and mental health.

    These two terms describe a person who is not only addicted to drugs or alcohol, but also has a mental or emotional illness, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, etc. Facilities that treat patients with dual-diagnosis or co-occurring disorders provide psychiatric treatment in addition to drug and alcohol rehabilitation services.

    Blake RapierPA-C/ Assistant Medical Director
    Blake Rapier attended Utah Valley University for his undergraduate studies. He studied medicine in Ohio graduating 1st in his class and magna cum laude from the University of Findlay’s Physicians Assistant program. He began his career practice Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine. Later, just practicing Family Medicine for 13 years and then started in the field of Addiction Medicine. He is certified and credentialed with the American Society of Addiction Medicine and recognized in addiction with SAMSHA and the DEA. He has been married to his wife since 2001 and they have 5 sons.

    Jory HatfieldMEd, LCMHC/ Clinical Director
    Jory Hatfield is Ardu Recovery’s Clinical Director. Jory has served as Clinical Director for several well known residential treatment centers in Utah. Jory is not only known as a brilliant clinician but a client advocate as well. Jory fights relentlessly to provide quality treatment and meaningful experiential therapy. Jory is a graduate of Utah Valley University where he studied psychology and substance use disorder counseling. He graduated with his Masters of Social Work at Utah State University and he is currently working towards his Doctorate of Psychology at California Southern University.

Located in the mountains of Provo, Utah, Ardu Recovery provides residential treatment to individuals who are struggling with substance abuse and other behavioral health disorders. The facility is also one of the 22 (9.2 percent) of Utah treatment facilities that offers residential detox.


According to Ardu Recovery's website, treatment typically begins with an assessment to determine an individualized treatment program, which may begin with medical detox. The treatment team works closely with each resident to determine the safest and most comfortable treatment. During detox, nurses are on staff 24/7.

The treatment facility is one of the 139 (58.2 percent) of Utah centers that offers treatment to individuals with co-occurring disorders. The facility offers a wide range of treatment options with an emphasis on dual-diagnosis treatment through holistic techniques, such as IV amino acid therapy, oxygen therapy, mindfulness-based stress reduction, nature immersion, therapeutic massage, yoga, and reiki.

In addition, treatment includes individual and group therapy counseling, gender-specific groups, young adult groups and activities, as well as family programs for loved ones.


According to the facility, Ardu Recovery offers a 1:4 staff-to-client ratio and employs a team of nurses, therapists, and counselors. The center is one of the 17 (7.1 percent) of Utah facilities accredited by CARF.


The treatment center boasts 20 beds, and images sourced from Ardu Recovery's website indicated a modern facility with hotel-like, shared bedrooms, as well as comfortable living spaces. Private rooms are also available.


The nine alumni polled by Rehabs.com to date praised the facility, commending the facility's staff, the effectiveness of programming, and accommodations. "Greatest staff, amazing program," alum Rochelle wrote, while alum Casey added: "Phenomenal care, beautiful facility and 5 Star Service!"

The two individuals who left reviews on the center's Facebook page, which it may have the ability to manage, both gave five out of five-star ratings for the facility. The food is delicious, the building is clean and beautiful, and the amenities are above and beyond," Lisa wrote in a representative review.

To date, the 31 individuals who left Google Reviews gave an average of 4.9 out of five stars for Ardu Recovery Center, and positive commentary. Individuals praised the treatment team, the amenities, and its overall effectiveness. [2] "Such a great facility. The team at Ardu treats every client like a family member," Kevin wrote in a representative review. "They truly go the extra mile to take care of the people that go there. The staff are all so well trained and amazing."

The two people who left Yelp reviews at the time of this writing also gave positive feedback, both awarding the facility with five out of five-star ratings. "I just want to take time to say what Ardu has done for me. I went through both the detox facility and the residential treatment program and I can't stress enough how great of a program Ardu is providing," an alum wrote. [3]

"It’s so beautiful and peaceful and such a comfortable home-like environment. I wouldn’t send my loved one anywhere else," loved one Laura wrote.


Like alumni and family members, the two staff members polled by Rehabs.com to date also awarding the facility five-star ratings for the facility's effectiveness and accommodations, as well as praised the facility's welcoming environment and upper management. "I am so proud to be working with the caring staff at Ardu to make this the premier detox/recovery program in the state," one staff member wrote.


According to Ardu Recovery, treatment is $20,000 per month. The facility accepts private insurance, and financial assistance may be available to those who qualify.
