Schick Shadel Hospital

It has been 10 years since I “recovered “. S.S. Program of aversion therapy worked For me. Was unpleasant … but so was I…very effective if one really has a desire to get sober and live real life. This place is the real deal thats why its been around for decades and has cured countless people of alcohol addiction. You need to commit yourself to getting out from the clutches of alcohol… If you are not committed and serious then don’t waste your money and time and prepare for death as it will most surely come to you sooner as an alcoholic. Peace to all and good luck. H Toronto

I feel they should of tried to work with my insurance company so I could finish treatment. I was the oldest in with a bunch of young adults who didn't know how to behave. They had no control of the other patients- poor management.

Tonya was my counselor and she was amazing. This place is what you make of it. If you're ready and willing for change you will find it here. If you come in with a bad attitude you won't get a good experience. They will take care of you here, physically, mentally and spiritually. Almost every worker here was so kind and also in recovery and alot of them actually came to this same facility for treatment. Don't expect a vacation though. It is work, there are rules and there's structure but that's also in real life so I was grateful for the structure it provided.
